Joining The Army

Anyone can be part of the Mangrove Army by looking out for and reporting damaged mangroves and riverbanks as well as illegally removed mangroves.

If you want to be publicly listed on this website as being part of the army, we ask you to make a donation to assist with radio advertising costs. All the money donated goes straight to the advertising fee, and there are no administration costs.

There are three different ranks in the Mangrove Army that you can get if you make a donation:
  • MANGROVE ARMY SOLDIER - For $5, you can become a soldier. You will have your name listed on this website so you are publicly recognized as a part of the Mangrove Army.
  • MANGROVE ARMY SERGEANT - For $20, you are a sergeant. Your name will be placed on this website and you will be listed as a Sergeant in my final project report.
  • MANGROVE ARMY MAJOR - For $40, you will be named as a Major of the Mangrove Army on this website and final report, AND you will get a special certificate of recognition.
